Really? A Saxophone?

Ok, this one came completely out of left field. I mean, I can understand why my dreams might be about following certain games and junk like that, but playing a saxophone?

**So, I really liked this song I was hearing, and I was singing it, I believe it was something by switchfoot (but the more I think about it, I don't think it was a real song, was just a good old made up dream song). There was a talent showing coming up, and I was supposed to perform some sort of talent, so i figured that I should get a group together and play this song. What a great idea!

I believe the talent show was sponsored by my work. Nu skin. There was a big gathering down here at commerce park out on the grass, everyone ready to watch. So for my group, there was me singing (so I thought), Jake Fowler on guitar (though we aren't playing anything by Guns and Roses), and Nathan Waxer, my old grade school / high school friend on drums (no clue how he got in this dream).

So first up I guess Jake wanted to play his own song, which I wasn't a part of. Waxer on drums, Jake on guitar, and there was another person, but no clue who it was. As they started to play, I walked back to my car to get my stuff ready for my song. I could hear Jake plugging away on his guitar, their some was something about an atomic bomb, it was really strange. Like a song you would hear at a carnival. Jake sure does pick some weird songs.

I practiced the words of my song in my head as I walked back to my car, cause who wants to look stupid and forget words while you sing. I got back to my car, pulled out a baritone saxophone, and started to warm up. That's right, I was no longer singing the song, I was going to play the baritone saxophone in a rock song next to Jake on guitar, and Waxer on drums.

As I started to play, I suddenly realized, I've never played the baritone saxophone in my life! I tried to play a scale, good, easy, I got it. But where are the keys to play flats and sharps?! I tried several times to play a b flat..no luck, I had no clue where the key was to play it. I started to panic a little, how was I supposed to learn how to play a song for a talent show in two minutes on an instrument I had never played??

Odly enough, I still had in the back of my mind that I was going to sing the song too. No clue how I was going to sing while playing the saxophone at the same time....

And that was it. I had a friend once in high school, Josh Roberts, he played the baritone sax. But I haven't even thought about playing an instrument for 10 years, let alone one I've never even touched before.

Why in the world would I dream about performing? This makes no sense. I can at least reason why I had dreams about certain games, I do follow a few that are in development. But playing a saxophone, in a talent show? WHAT?!

My future trip to Panama...6 years ago?

Well, I don't remember too much of this one, but it had to do with my Panama trip that I will be taking next month.

**I was in Panama, taking my vacation, traveling around and having fun with friends. There was a long bus ride, and I was just having fun on the bus. We stopped at some building, and I went inside. It was a Panama mission change meeting. Somehow I was back in missionary clothes, and for some reason..this didn't see strange. I thought that "well, this is my last change meeting before they send me home (6 weeks left), and I hope they send me someplace cool." I discussed with another missionary that I thought they were going to send me to Bocas del Toro.

So they gave me a new area, but for some reason I don't remember what the area was. I left the meeting with all the other missionaries, but I accidentally got on the wrong bus. I got back on the bus I came in on, just a tour bus, instead of getting on the missionary bus. I felt dumb, but I still walked up and down the aisles, pretending like I was just looking for any last belongings I had left before I went to my last area.

**Also, as a sidenote, in some other dream, I remember I sat down at my computer, checked my email, and there in HUGE BOLD LETTERS was a keycode for the Starcraft 2 Beta. Was just a small clip from some other dream, but that is all I remember about it.

Well, thats all from last night. Nothing too interesting really, just some weird random stuff. Hopefully writing this stuff down will help me start to remember my dreams that are really off the wall. Trust me..they get crazy!

Diablo 3, or is it Diablo 4

Well, here we go, to start out the journal. I really don't know if this dream came about last night or not, but it's been on my mind today.

**Keeping up with the facts on the progress and development of the new Blizzard game Diablo 3, I ran across something very interesting: Diablo 3 was already released! What Blizzard was actually working on was Diablo 4, and no one seemed to remember that Diablo 3 was already released and sold two years previously.

I went to a store, and sure enough, there was the box. I couldn't believe no one realized that this game was released years ago. No sites had reviewed it, there were no fan sites, but there it was on retail store shelves. Blizzard even called their new Diablo "a sequel to Diablo 2," did they forget too that they already made a sequel??

I went home, installed the game, watched the opening cinematic, created myself a character to play (something of a warrior / knight / paladin hybrid). I don't remember what I named it (probably something like poo_deluxe, who knows) and set off to explore the duneons of the game.

The game was dark..very very very dark. Almost hard to see anything at all in the game. But it did look pretty realistic. My guy walked around town, dead trees, gothic style buildings and fences. I think everything was colored black, at midnight, with no moon.

My guy walked to some church for the first level of the dungeon..and was about to go down....and Bam, I got side tracked and had to go do something away from my computer.

AND I NEVER SAT BACK DOWN TO CONTINUE THE GAME!!

I remember thinking many times that I really should try to play the game more, to see what it was like, but i never even loaded the game again. It just sat there..begging me to play it, but I was too busy doing other things**

How sad! So people understand, Diablo 2 is my favorite game of all time, and I've been playing it a lot recently (it's a 10 year old game). I've been keeping tabs on Diablo 3 which is currently in devolpment, so I guess all this somehow leaked into my dreamstate.

The weird part is, I think it has been in mutiple dreams, but just as a side note. I don't even know when I dreamed about this "hidden game" but the idea of it, I THINK, has been in other dreams. Just a passing thought, the idea of "oh yeah, i still have that new Diablo game on my computer I should play sometime" just pops up as a random idea. I swear its happened in multiple dreams, but you never know, sometimes you can have a single dream, and it will seem like you've had that idea for years.

And that is my first post. I doubt I'll re-read or edit this, so good luck making it pas run-on sentences and spelling errors!

Hopefully I'll remember some more soon (though if its a lucid dream, that might not be too appropriate to read)
